The main objective of the project (Ob1) is to implement a series of actions that will enhance the experience of wine in Pella and Negotino in order to attract more tourists, support the development of the local economy and create new jobs. This objective will be approached under two axes/sub-objectives; (1) Improvement of the attractiveness of the two areas and (2) Promotion of the wine experience and the employment in tourism in Pella and Negotino. This way, the project will act in two layers. The 1st layer is the creation of a more attractive environment with selected interventions in sites of cultural heritage that can act as “multipliers” as they will not only act as attractions but also as the ground for multiple actions related to wine tourism. The 2nd layer is a network of activities to support directly the unemployed of the two areas and also to expand the wine experience and unfold the rich possibilities for development of the two areas raised by their wine tradition.
Other specific objectives are:
- Ob2: To connect the cultural heritage of the two areas with wine tourism practices (targeted to TG3, TG4, TG5)
- Ob3: To valorize existing practices in the wine experience in both areas (targeted to TG2, TG3, TG5)
- Ob4: To offer the unemployed expertise on wine tourism (targeted to TG1)
- Ob5: To support the local enterprises that act in the field of viniculture or related fields (targeted to TG2)
- Ob6: To use innovative digital tools to enrich the wine experience (targeted to TG2, TG4, TG5)
- Ob7: To promote the cross border approach in seizing opportunities for local development (targeted to all TGs)
