Partnership

The partnership consists of three local authorities of the cross border area of Greece and the Republic of North Macedonia. They are the Municipality of Pella, the Municipality of Negotino and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Pella.

The location of the activities of the project is the territory of the two municipalities of Pella and Negotino.
Pella is extended in 668 q.km. and its population is 63.122 people, being the most crowded municipality of Pella prefecture. It has a significant production of wine made by the famous grape of Pella which is even mentioned in ancient texts.
On the other hand, Negotino is 414 q.km and its population is 19.212 people. Its local economy is based on wine production for decades and the great tradition in wine making extends the country’s borders.
